Description

The Morgue is an investigative puzzle adventure in which you play the role of a vampire medical examiner. It was inspired by Vampire: The Masquerade from Paradox Interactive.

Help the Police Department and the whole community by solving mysterious deaths.

Analyze bodies using different tools, each with a unique effect.

Read emails and letters, gather hints from personal effects, and try your luck with the dice to inspect the wounds on the corpses.

As a vampire of the Hecata Clan, you can harness your necromancer powers to hear the victim’s death rattle and obtain valuable intel.

But be aware of your Hunger: do not let the Beast take over...

Will your intuition be enough to solve all the cases?

Features

  • Analyze wounds with the original Vampire: The Masquerade dice system
  • Consult an illustrated Manual of Creatures
  • Use different tools and effects to overcome the challenge
  • Call upon the dead with your powers and gather intel from them
  • Control the Hunger and do not let the Beast feast on corpses indistinctly

Not sure what I'm missing, but I couldn't progress past the first few minutes.

After checking the PC and looking at the body, I got a hint saying "Some victims may have personal effects. These can be analyzed to gather valuable intel.", and I couldn't find a way to continue.

I tried looking at every nearby surface, seeing if I could open the nearby locker or anything else around, and going back to the body and clicking to Start Analysis - none had any effect.

The personal effects are on the desk next to the record player, but it's a bug since it should be something you can decide to analyze or not...
I'll fix it right now, thank you for letting us know ^^

In the meantime, you can continue your experience in The Morgue by interacting with the letter on the desk on the left of the room during the tutorial!

Thank you again!

Ahh, right, OK, so; what's happened here is I saw that little note and went over to it... but with the limited head pitch, if I'm standing right up to the table and look down, it's not quite far enough to bring up the interact prompt with the note, so I dismissed it and moved on. I need to stand slightly further away, or look at the note from an angle further along the table.

(Also, on this second attempt, it's stuck on the "First reach the stretcher..." tip even after I've moved the stretcher, loaded the body, checked the PC etc, and now won't let me interact with the body at all, so... Gahh! Third time's the charm, I hope :D )

Update: yeah, no, now I can never get it to progress past asking me to grab the stretcher. I think I'm going to put this down for now, sorry! Happy to take another look later one

Sorry to keep you waiting!

We have fixed the tutorial progression and you should now be able to press E to continue.
Sometimes the web version of the game could cause some bugs in the tutorial progression; while we continue to investigate the matter, please consider downloading the game for the best experience!
Remember that an installed version of the game will always perform better!

Thanks again for your feedback ^^
